No, this isn't a baseball thing, before you ask. As I mentioned way back in "Why I Hate Fire Alarms", I have Asperger's syndrome. One of the symptoms, for me, is sensitive hearing. This can be a bad thing, like it is with fire alarms, but it can be a good thing as well. I have perfect pitch. I can tell what key a song is in when I hear it, I can sing most notes on cue, and it really bugs me when I hear someone singing off-key or when an instrument is off-key.
